Ivy removal was undertaken following strict guidelines to minimise damage to the stonework underneath. The ivy was cut at ground level and left to die back. The end gable is begining to reappear following this "surgery". | ||||

Gravestone condition recording, ivy removal, evening lectures and general housekeeping have all taken place at Kirkmichael over the last 3 years. There have also been a very successful series of summer guided walks including to Jane Duncans "The Colony", Poyntzfield House and Jemimaville.
